ABOUT
Hello, and welcome.
My name is ChrisTina, and I’ve been exploring my family history since I was 14 years old. I didn’t realize I was beginning a lifelong conversation with the past.
It began with a family Bible open on the living room floor, trying to make sense of the names and places that shaped the generations before me. While genealogy was never my profession, I’ve pursued it with the dedication of a full-time job.
Over the years, I volunteered with NJGenWeb as the Monmouth County Coordinator, creating family history–based webpages, and spent many hours in cemeteries transcribing and photographing headstones for Find A Grave and BillionGraves—often with the help of my husband, Thom, who has been a steady partner in this work.
It has always been important to us not just to uncover history, but to share it—so others might find a piece of their own story within it. This site is one way of passing that on.
A Note on Reflection - Over time, I’ve come to realize that genealogy is not only about gathering facts.
Sometimes, in the process of researching, we begin to notice patterns…
stories that echo…
strengths and struggles that seem to carry forward in quiet ways.
Like any family tree, this work is never truly finished.
New discoveries are made.
Stories are refined.
Connections appear where none were seen before.
And sometimes, what begins as a search for the past becomes something more—
a way of understanding the present.
